I am where I am today following many chances and fantastic opportunities.
I qualified as a Kids Fitness instructor and the doors of opportunity flew open. I freelanced all over the Wirral teaching Boxercise, Indoor cycling, Kettlebells, Circuits and Kids fitness classes. After a while, I was offered a local Ladies Boxfit class at Venture Boxing Club this was solely run by me. Rather than tread water, I decided to broaden my knowledge and become a Personal Trainer. In the meantime, I changed my employment status from freelancing to a permanent position based at Gravity Health & Fitness as a gym instructor/class instructor. This helped with family life as I no longer had the travel time added to my day, and it turned out to be the best move I ever made.
I continued to run the Boxfit club but as my Personal training took off I had to make a sacrifice and sadly the classes had to go. I decided I would like to take on the challenge of becoming an Hour of Power Instructor, I spoke to the managers and employees of Gravity and showed them clips on Youtube and they were as hooked as me – two went home and purchased the DVD.
We are now really excited to deliver HOP from Gravity and we know it will accommodate our members well.
