I have always been passionate about my fitness and wellbeing and last year I made the decision to focus my energy and enthusiasm into training to become a fitness instructor.
My motivation behind the decision came following diagnosis and treatment 6 years ago for Breast cancer. as part of my recovery, I started Gill Garner and Jacqui Alcock’s Hour of Power class at Thornton Hall Health Club and initially struggled to even lift my arms above my head. After participating in Hour of Power classes for over 5 years, and the guidance and encouragement of both instructors, it felt like the natural progression for me to start to train as an Hour of Power instructor, to help inspire others in this amazing class.
I totally believe in the Hour of Power as a fitness regime for the mind and the body and I never tire or participating or instructing.
