I’m very passionate about endurance sports; super long mountain marathons fell running events and of course Hour of Power. I have a background of competitive cross-country running, British Universities Swimming and Waterpolo and now my ultimate ambition is…to do the Bob Graham Round (a super long 24-hour endurance multi-mountain elite event consisting of 42 mountains in 24 hours).
In terms of my regular Fitness4x4 training, my goal is to be regularly doing 500 lifts on 15 kg dumbbells. I learned HOP® back in the year 2000 at Loughborough University, and have taught it ever since…first at Loughborough and later in Auckland, New Zealand. I’m privileged to have had the Loughborough Athletic Union ‘Hour of Power’ award named after me, for my achievements in and contribution to the Hour of Power there, so that is an honour I look to uphold with my dedication to training and teaching.
