Red Lodge (Suffolk, UK)

My Passion for Hour Of Power began by being introduced to the Hour Of Power class in 1999 by Dragan Radovic whilst working in Dubai.

I finally brought the Hour Of Power program to Red Lodge in mid April 2013, Red Lodge is a small village in the middle of Suffolk located between Cambridge and Bury St Edmund’s so when I set up in Red Lodge I was hoping for around 15 villagers to join me in my Hour Of Power journey.

I approached Paul Hope who runs the newly built Sports Pavilion and with Paul’s help we soon got the class up and running, the sports pavilion has been the ideal location. However, very shortly the numbers of people joining the class extended beyond 50 for our midweek class and we have had to extend into the newly built St Christopher’s School Hall to accommodate everyone and the numbers are still growing week by week.

In the short time we have been going the village has gone HOPPING mad and we now have people coming from all over the region to join in on the HOP®

I am lucky in the fact that I have my wife Julie to sort out all the administration side of things and I have the easy job of just doing the instructing.

Julie has also become an HOP® addict as she has always suffered from a bad back due to horse riding accident but ever since getting on the Hour of Power program her back has gone from strength to strength.
