HOP® Slodes – Vertical lifting class

We all enjoy HOP® very much, especially me. In every class we try to challenge ourselves even more then in the previous one.

Just to spice things up a little bit, twice a month we do the Vertical lifting class, or Dragan walk class. It challenges us on a completely different level. This type of class – the other side of HOP® has a special meaning for me, and few other members. We had the honour to meet in person the creator of HOP® and founder of The Dragan challenge competition, Dragan Radovic himself. So every 4×4 class is a small, internal competition for all of us.

When we first started doing this, we only could do 50 lifts, barely. Now we’re up to 150 or 200 depending how heavy dumbbells are. Hopefully, one day we can even try to set a new record in the official Challenge.

About Milorad: I’m 47 years old. When I was younger I trained athletics and folk dancing. When I stopped training, I gained a lot of weight, and developed a problem with high blood pressure. When I heard that my friend Ana is teaching The Hour of Power I decided to give it a try. It was about a year ago and I found that this training suites me perfectly. I lost weight, and normalized my blood pressure. The concept of the training is extraordinary. I always want a few minutes more, especially, when we stretch. Regardless my age, I am willing to at least get near some of the records in this fitness, especially Dragan Challenge. The instructor is also exceptional, which completes my positive impressions of this fitness pleasure.
