As someone who hated gyms and has tried every exercise fad going, the only thing I have ever stuck with is Hour of Power® with Michelle knight. I’ve been attending classes for almost a year now and still get a good workout and a buzz from it. My strength and stamina has increased and as it has so the weights I lift have increased hence ensuring that I am still pushing myself to my own limits.

The class is really welcoming. All ages and fitness levels are represented and you never feel judged. Everyone works to their own limits but still as a team. The team camaraderie is very evident in the Brackley hop sessions and actively encouraged. Just when you think you can’t go any further someone is always encouraging you to press on.
As a 50 year old I have seen real changes in my body and am always inspired by Dragon. I see this as a way of life and now understand that inner vitality is so important.
Hour of Power® and Michelle Knight have been a huge influence on my lifestyle and the choices I now make. Thank you!

Buzzing! That is how I would describe hour of power. I always leave the class on such a high. Love it! As for the fitness side of it I would say that my focus has improved greatly and I’m getting stronger every time I go. I would say that getting the breathing technique right during hour of power is what really helps you to improve and I am definitely feeling the benefits of this in other areas of exercise I do. Can not recommend that people give this class a go enough!

So. Hour of Power®. Lifting light weights, squatting and abs for hour. Easy right. No way! Yeah, the weights are light but curl them for about 10 minutes then shoulder press them for ten minutes and so on, all while jogging on the spot. Mix it up with a couple of hundred squats, lots of sit ups and supermans. It’s a full on workout, which crazily enough is amazing fun whilst getting you fit. Never thought I’d ever go to an exercise class but since starting HOP® I’ve never looked back. Roll on the next session!!!!

I love HOP®. It’s that simple. I dislike the gym…. Running nowhere on a treadmill is boring and it allows time for my mind to wander to ‘what shall I make the kids for lunch tomorrow’ or ‘I wonder who needs to be where’ rather than concentrating on form or technique. HOP® Brackley has The most amazing instructor who is encouraging and supportive. Just when you think that you can’t do another shoulder press, she locks eyes with you and gives you the strength to carry on to the end. But that gives you the strength to encourage others.
The music allows you to get into a rhythm, to concentrate on breathing and technique. To focus your mind on pushing yourself further. The class has made me realise I am strong. I never thought that 8 mths ago I would be using 4kg’s. But I am and I can. And I want to do better, why? Because if I don’t. Nothing will change. HOP® has made changes to my body that no other exercise class has. I have definition, I have dropped 2 dress sizes and I feel HEALTHY!!!!
Lastly the class feels like a team and also there are many I would be happy to call a friend. We all share the same interest and we spur each other on too. The atmosphere can be electric and you walk out on a high. As Michelle says “go from zero to hero” I am Superwoman!!!!
