Last April I decided I wanted to make lifestyle changes to be fitter and change my diet. My self esteem had been low after going through the body changes of having my son. I had tried slimming world and some workout DVDs and had the motivation to get off the couch but I wanted something more and I always work better in a team. That’s when I decided I needed a fitness class.
I started HOP® last summer. I love how the class challenges me every time by going up in weights and having the self belief from my trainer, Michelle and our encouraging HOP® team. The atmosphere is electric and both the trance and rock tracks really get you motivated. My lifestyle has now completely changed as a result. My friends and family have noticed how much happier I am and how healthy and strong I look – some say I have never looked better! Even so that my friends have started coming to the classes with me and are enjoying it as much as I do – some are now regulars.
There truly is no other class like it! Even after doing the class for some time I can always push myself to do better and because the class is so enjoyable, I have the drive to do just that!
I am a HOP® convert. If you want hard evidence of what its done for me, look at my wardrobe! I have dropped a dress size and feel fantastic. I am fitter and stronger than I have ever been and it has made me want to keep that way as a lifestyle choice. Our HOP® team are fantastic and I have made new friends who keep me enthused and pick each other up mentally when those weights feel at their heaviest!
My HOP® experience: well what can you say about HOP®, apart from an Awesome workout. It breaks you in gently with a lovely warmup, followed by some squats, then some more squats, then you wonder if you can do anymore squats, but the lovely Michelle is there to offer encouragement, finally the squats are over – that wasn’t too bad, I say, but no time to think about my legs, hand weights at the ready, and off we go. Best arm workout ever, you get carried along with the others in the class, great music, great atmosphere, and fun, which makes me return every time.
I’ve been a massive fan of Michelle’s Insanity class since day one so when she suggested I might like HOP I thought I would give it a try. I found my first class a little awe-inspiring; everyone squatted and stood in perfect harmony without stopping! But I was quickly hooked. I started exactly two months ago and this week did a whole class with 4kg weights!
Everyone in the class is friendly and the atmosphere is amazing! Michelle is always happy, positive and full of energy – which quickly rubs off on everyone and nobody leaves without a smile on their face.
Thanks to HOP and Insanity I’m fitter, leaner and stronger than ever before. I suffer from severe anxiety and nothing calms me down and helps me relax more than HOP.
So I have Michelle to thank for encouraging me and helping me every week, making me healthier in both body and mind.
Hour of Power is simply the best workout class I’ve ever done. I love the whole body conditioning and holistic approach. I have been attending Michelle Knight’s classes for just under a year and HOP as many as 5 or 6 times a week. Michelle is the most supportive, knowledgeable, encouraging and inspiring instructor I’ve ever known. She makes each class hard work but fun.
Her HOP class is friendly and open to all ages and fitness levels. With her encouragement I am now moving up to using 5 kg weights which I never thought possible! I love the fact that I have muscle definition in my arms – no bingo wings here! I feel strong and accomplished after each class. If you want a class that covers the whole body (and mind) in an hour then look no further!
I had always been unmotivated when it came to going to the gym until I discovered HOP. A friend recommended it to me and I’ve never looked back, it’s fantastic to find something energetic and fun to do in a group environment. I’ve seen such an amazing transformation in my fitness and physical appearance now I’m hooked!
